This year, we've decided to commemorate our anniversary in a grand manner, which is why we're organizing an in-person event in the Spanish capital, Madrid. On July 1st, you'll have the opportunity to see a selection of the best short films of the year, with works not only awarded at CLIMAX, but also at the most prestigious festivals worldwide. Montreal, Tribeca, Ibiza, and Tampere are just a few examples. We know of our passion for cinema, we love shorts that manage to move us, and make us love even more what we already do, and this edition has exceeded our expectations. INGMAR BERGMAN said that there is no other art form that goes beyond ordinary knowledge as cinema does, straight to our emotions, deep into the dark room of the soul. And that's what we wanted to offer you with Climax, a piece of our soul in the form of moving images. In this edition, we are lucky to have projects that have swept the festival circuit such as "Earth Calling Ana" or "Let's say I speak of you", some of them are in fact, still doing it like "Archimetrica", we have short films that we are fortunate to premiere at the festival to which we predict a bright future like "Once Upon a Time a Love" or "To Your Will See". Climax was born to be a different festival that gave voice to the most auteur artists that was a speaker for directors who do not get the recognition they deserve. That's why we have decided to hold this event to celebrate their talent and their magic at a festival where we want to claim the most independent cinema. That which manages with few resources, to move hearts. Because our directors communicate through images and help us understand the importance of this art, the importance of cinema. So, get ready for a unique event and enjoy the experience. We'll be waiting for you in the Espacio Capsula on July 1st from 2:00 PM. Don't hesitate to join us to enjoy a day where you'll travel around the world and experience all kinds of emotions thanks to the seventh art. Este año, hemos optado por conmemorar nuestro aniversario de manera grandiosa, es por eso que organizaremos un evento presencial en la capital española, Madrid. El 1 de julio, tendrán la oportunidad de ver una selección de los mejores cortometrajes del año, con trabajos no solo galardonados en CLIMAX, sino también en los festivales más prestigiosos a nivel mundial. Montreal, Tribeca, Ibiza y Tampere son solo algunos ejemplos. Sabemos de nuestra pasión por el cine, nos encantan los cortos que logran conmovernos, y que nos hacen amar aún más lo que ya amamos, y esta edición ha superado nuestras expectativas. Decia INGMAR BERGMAN que No hay otra forma de arte que vaya más allá del conocimiento ordinario como lo hace el cine, directo a nuestras emociones, profundamente al cuarto oscuro del alma. Y eso es lo que os hemos querido ofrecer con Clímax, un pedacito de nuestra alma en forma de imágenes en movimiento. En esta edición, tenemos la suerte de contar con proyectos que han arrasado en el circuito de festivales como "Tierra Llamando a Ana" o "pongamos que hablo de ti", algunos de ellos de hecho, lo siguen haciendo como "Archimetrica", tenemos cortometrajes que tenemos la suerte de estrenar en el festival a los cuales auguramos un futuro brillante como "Once Upon a time a Love" o " A tú verá" Clímax nació para ser un festival diferente que diera voz a los artistas más autorales que fuera un altavoz para los directores que no tienen el reconocimiento que se merecen. Es por ello por lo que hemos decidido realizar este evento para celebrar su talento y su magia en un festival donde queremos revindicar el cine más independiente. Aquel que consigue con pocos recursos, mover corazones. Porque nuestros directores se comunican a través de imágenes y nos ayudan a entender la importancia de este arte, la importancia del cine. Por lo tanto, prepárense para un evento único y disfruten de la experiencia. Les estaremos esperando en el Espacio Capsula el 1 de julio a partir de las 14:00. No duden en unirse a nosotros para disfrutar de un día en el que viajarán por todo el mundo y experimentarán toda clase de emociones gracias al séptimo arte.
